Why is Your iPhone Not Sending Text Messages to One Person
Fix 1: Enable iMessage on Your Contact’s iPhone
Your contact should enable iMessage for both the phone number and email ID associated with the Apple account. This helps in sending iMessages either on the phone number or the email ID.
OpenSettings>Messages> enableiMessage>Send & Receive> enableiMessagefor both Apple ID and phone number.
Fix 2: Unblock Your Contact
Just like on WhatsApp and Telegram, you can block contacts in the Messages app. But that is the reason stopping you from sending the iMessage to your contact. Here’s how you can check if you’ve blocked the contact.
OpenSettings>Messages>Blocked Contacts>Edit> swipe right on the contact and then tapUnblock.
Fix 3: Force Send iMessage As Text Message
If none of the solutions have worked for you, you canforce send Text Message instead of iMessageto your contact. This will help you continue the conversation. Also, raise a compliant with your networks service provider if the problem persists for more than a couple of hours.
