3 Fixes for Picture-in-Picture Not Working in Telegram

Basic Fixes

1. Check if Picture-in-Picture Is Enabled

Depending on your device, check if the feature is enabled to be used on Telegram.

On iPhone

OpenSettings>General>Start PiP Automatically.

On Android

Step 1:Long-press theTelegram app iconand selectApp Info.

Step 2:Scroll down and tap onDisplay Over Other Apps> enable theAllow Display Over Other Appstoggle.

2. Turn off Power Saving Mode

Power Saving mode can prevent the Picture-in-Picture mode from working on Telegram to conserve battery life.

Step 1:OpenTelegramon your iPhone or Android and tap onSettings.

Step 2:Tap onPower Saving> choose toturn off permissionsto restrict all resource-intensive processes.

Fix 3: Clear Telegram Cache

On iPhone

Step 1:OpenTelegramon your iPhone and go toSettings.

Step 2:SelectData and Storageand tap onStorage Usage.

Step 3:Tap onClear Entire Cache.

On Android

Step 1:Long-press theTelegram appiconand selectApp Info.

Step 2:Tap onStorage and Cacheand selectClear Cache.
