3 Fixes for Voice Memos Not Recording Audio on iPhone

Fix 1: Disable iCloud Backup for Voice Memos (if It Is Full)

OpenSettings>profile name>iCloud>Show All> disableVoice Memosbackup.

Fix 2: Enable Background App Refresh

You must enable the Background App Refresh for the Voice Memos app on your iPhone. So, check whether Background App Refresh is enabled. Here’s how to do it.

Step 1:OpenSettingson your iPhone and selectVoice Memos.

Step 2:Check ifBackground App Refreshis enabled. If not, toggle it on.

Fix 3: Reset All Settings

Next, you canreset all settings on your iPhoneto see if the Voice Memos app starts working. This method will restore all the default settings for your iPhone, so you don’t have to worry about data loss.

OpenSettings>General>Transfer or Reset iPhone>Reset>Reset All Settings.
