Basic Fix:
Fix 1: Clear Browser Cookies
If you use the Netflix website and the continue-watching titles have disappeared, it is probably because of the pent-up cookies. While cookies make the web experience smoother, extreme cookie build-up slows your web navigation. This is why it is ideal to clear browser cookies regularly. Here’s how you can do so.
PC
Step 1:Open Google Chrome on your laptop. Tap on the three dots on the top-right pane.
Step 2:In the drop-down menu, tapClear Browsing Data.
Step 3:SelectAll Timeon the top. Then, check the box againstCookies and other site data. After that, selectClear data.
Mobile Devices
Step 1:Open Google Chrome on your phone. Tap the three dots at the bottom right of the page. In the menu that opens, tapClear browsing data.
Step 3:Check the box againstCookies and other site data. Under the time range option, selectAll time. You can then go ahead and selectClear Browsing Data.
We have displayed the steps for Google Chrome. If you use another web browser, clear the cookies for that specific browser. The steps for clearing cookies for other web browsers should remain the same. This solution has helpedNetflix web usersfix the issue at hand.
Tip:You may alsoreset Netflix watch history.
Fix 2: Reset Your Devices
Your device’s settings may be causing an issue. We suggest resetting your device. Once you have done so, check if you can view the Continue Watching tab on Netflix.
iPhone/iPad
Step 1:Open the Settings app. Head toGeneral>Transfer or Reset iPhone.
Step 2:SelectReset>Continue.
Android
Step 1:Open Settings on your phone. Head toSystem>Reset Options.
Step 2:Further, chooseReset app preferences. In the pop-up, selectReset apps.
Fix 3: Clear Netflix Cache on Android
This one is for anyone who uses the Netflix app on their Android device. If your continue-watching list has vanished from your sight, your phone’s cache could be the real culprit. While cache speeds up an application’s performance, accumulation has a slowing effect.
Hence, if the continue watching pane is giving you trouble, we advise you to clear the Netflix cache on your Android device. Here’s how you can do so.
Step 1:Open the Settings app on your phone. Then, tapApps. You can then selectSee all 200 apps.
Step 2:Then, selectNetflix. Now, go toStorage & cache.
Step 3:Finally, selectClear cache.
Also, be mindful not to have previouslycleared the Continue Watching list. If so, none of these fixes will work.
