3 Ways to Fix Discord Not Showing Spotify Status

Fix 1. Disable and Enable Spotify Status on Discord
When you first connect your Spotify account on Discord, the app enables permission to display Spotify as your status. If you have disabled it due to privacy concerns, use the steps below to enable it.
On Desktop
Step 1:Launch theDiscord appon your desktop. Click theSettingsnext to your username.
Step 2:SelectConnectionsfrom the left sidebar.
Step 3:Enable theDisplay Spotify as your statustoggle.
On Mobile
Step 1:Open theDiscordapp. Tap yourDiscord profile iconat the bottom left and selectConnections.
Step 2:Enable theDisplay Spotify as your statustoggle under Spotify.
Tip: While it’s not related to Discord as it’s a native feature of Spotify, you can also try enablingFriend Activity on Spotify. This way, you can also share your listening activity through Spotify.
Fix 2. Relink Your Spotify Account on Discord
Did you recently change your Spotify account password? Your Spotify status won’t show up due to incorrect account details. Relink the Spotify account in Discord. Here’s what to do.
On Desktop
Step 1:Launch theDiscord app. Click theSettingsnext to your username.
Step 2:ClickConnectionsfrom the left sidebar. Click thex markbeside your Spotify account.
Step 3:ClickDisconnectto confirm your decision.
Step 4:Click theSpotify app iconat the top.Sign inwith your account details and give relevant permission.
On Mobile
Step 1:Open theDiscord app. Tap yourprofile iconat the bottom left.
Step 2:SelectConnections. Tap thex markand selectDisconnect.
Step 3:TapAddat the top and selectSpotify.
Login with your Spotify account details; the integration is good to go on Discord.
Fix 3. Disable the Game Activity Status Message
Your current gaming activity may conflict with Spotify to display your listening mood on the Discord account. You must stop Steam or Epic Games activity from appearing on your Discord account.
On Desktop
Step 1:Launch theDiscordapp. Click onSettingsnext to your username.
Step 2:SelectConnectionsfrom the left sidebar. Disable theDisplay on profiletoggle for Steam or another gaming account.
On Mobile
Step 1:Launch theDiscordapp. Tap yourprofile icon→ Connections.
Step 2:Disable theDisplay on profiletoggle for Steam, Epic Games, or Xbox.
