Basic Fixes:

Fix 1: Check Fire TV Stick Storage

If your Fire TV Stick doesn’t have enough storage space, it won’t install and store the update. This might cause your Fire TV Stick to get stuck in an update loop. To check if this is the case, check the available storage.

Step 1:OpenFire TV Stick> go toSettingsfrom the menu option. Then, selectMy Fire TV.

Step 2:Here, selectAbout.

Step 3:Scroll down toStorage.

In the right-hand panel, check the storage details for your device. If enough space is unavailable, free up some spaceand try installing the update again.

Fix 2: Use the Wall Adapter

Your Fire TV Stick comes with a power adapter that can connect your streaming stick to a power outlet. So, if you’ve been directly connecting your Fire TV Stick with your TV, we advise connecting it with the wall adapter and using it again.

Fix 3: Factory Reset Fire TV Stick

Resetting your Fire TV Stickessentially makes it brand new. It is also an effective way to fix issues, like persistent problems when installing the latest software updates. If you would like to give it a try, follow the below steps.

Step 1:SelectSettingson your Fire TV Stick. Then, selectMy Fire TV.

Step 2:Scroll down and selectReset to Factory Defaults.

Step 3:SelectResetto confirm.

Once done, wait for the reset process to finish. Then, set up your Fire TV Stick and check for updates to see if the issue has been fixed.
