3 Ways to Fix Google TV Not Showing Up to Cast

Basic Fixes
Fix 1: Connect to the Same Wi-Fi Network and Google Account
Both aspects should be considered when casting your device to your Android TV screen. You can check the same in the Settings menu of your Google TV.
Fix 2: Enable Cast on Your Android TV
Did you disable Chromecast on your Google TV? It won’t show up to cast on an Android phone.
Step 1:Go toGoogle TV Settings > Apps > See all apps.
Step 2:ExpandSystem Appsand selectChromecast built-in.
Step 3:ClickEnablefrom the following menu.
Try casting your Android phone again, and your Google TV should appear.
Fix 3: Reset Your Google TV
This will bring all the system apps and settings to default on your Google TV. Once done, sign in again using your Google account, connect to the same Wi-Fi network, and then try casting your device.
OpenSettings>System>Reset.
