Basic Fixes
Fix 1: Enable or Disable Wi-Fi Calling
If you still experience call drops on your iPhone, try using Wi-Fi calling. It allows you to make and receive calls over a Wi-Fi network instead of a cellular network.
To enable Wi-Fi calling on an iPhone:
Step 1:Navigate toSettings>Mobile Service>Wi-Fi Calling.
Step 2:Turn onWi-Fi Calling on This iPhone.
Note:For this fix to work, your carrier must support Wi-Fi calling. If you’re unsure, contact your carrier for assistance.
Fix 2:Reset Network Settings
A network glitch on your iPhone can hang up the phone when you call someone. iOS offers an option to reset network settings on the iPhone. Here’s how:
Step 1:OpenSettings>General>Transfer or Reset iPhone.
Step 2:SelectReset>Reset Network Settings.
Step 3:Enter your devicepasscodeto confirm.
Fix 3: Update Carrier Settings
Carriers frequently roll out network updates to improve coverage. Typically, these updates are included with iOS releases, but you can also manually update your iPhone’s carrier settings. Here’s how.
