Basic Fixes:

Fix 1: Check if You’ve Been Blocked

Check if you’re still friends with the user and that they haven’t blocked you. Because of Snapchat’s privacy controls, you might be restricted from accessing other users’ accounts if they have blocked you. Ifyou have been blocked on Snapchat, you can ask your friend to unblock you to fix this issue.

Fix 2: Clear Snapchat App Cache

Caches can help apps load faster and are generally considered beneficial. However, as time goes by, this collected cache increases in size and might interfere with regular app functions. To ensure this does not happen, periodically clear the Snapchat app’s cache. Here’s how.

Step 1:Open theSnapchatapp > tap on yourbitmoji iconat the top-left corner >cogwheel icon.

Step 2:Scroll down and tap onClear Cache. When prompted, tap onContinue.

Fix 3: Reinstall Snapchat

Uninstalling an app helps remove all app data and settings. This can be helpful if app settings prevent you from using certain Snapchat features. Once removed, reinstall the app’s fresh copy and log in again. Here’s how to do it.

On Android

Step 1:OpenSettingsand tap onApps. Here, tap onSnapchat.

Step 2:Tap onUninstall. To confirm, tap onOK.

Now, go to the Google Play Store and reinstall theSnapchat app. Finish the app setup and see if the issue has been resolved.

On iPhone

Step 1:Long-press theSnapchat appand tap onRemove App.

Step 2:Tap onDelete App. If prompted, tap onDeleteto confirm.

Once done, go to the App Store andreinstall Snapchat. Then, log in to your Snapchat account again and see if you can send messages or Snaps on Snapchat.
