Fix 1: Reset Your Password
Resetting the password of your Snapchat account effectively resolves such login issues. For that, you must use the email address or phone number associated with your account.
Step 1:Open the Snapchat app on your phone. On the login screen, tap theForgot your passwordlink and select your preferred method to reset the password.
Step 2:Enter your phone number or email ID and tap onSubmit. Then, type yournew passwordtwice and hitSubmit.
Fix 2: Check Date and Time Settings
Another reason you may be unable to log into your Snapchat account is that the date ortime on your phone is incorrect. To fix this, configure your phone to use the network-provided date and time by following the steps below.
On Android
Step 1:Open theSettingsapp and navigate toGeneral Management.
Step 2:Tap onDate and time. Then, enable the toggle forAutomatic date and time.
On iPhone
Step 1:Launch theSettingsapp on your iPhone and navigate toGeneral.
Step 2:Tap onDate & Time. Toggle onSet Automatically.
Fix 3: Check if Your Snapchat Account Is Locked or Disabled
Do you see a “Your account has been temporarily blocked” message while logging into your Snapchat account? That could happen if you have violated Snapchat’s community guidelines or if Snapchat suspects that youraccount password has been compromised. In that case, you mustreach out to Snapchat supportand request their help.
Additionally, Snapchat may block your account temporarily if you make too many failed login attempts within a short time. If that’s the case, wait a few hours and try again.
