Basic Fixes

Fix 1: Enable Background App Refresh

iOS gives you an option to allow apps torefresh in the backgroundeven when they’re not in use. This helps apps push instant notifications even when you’re not actively using them.

Open theSettingsapp, scroll down, selectWhatsApp, and enableBackground App Refresh.

Fix 2: Disable Low Data Mode

If you’re using a metered network connection or a mobile hotspot, your iPhone will automatically enable ‘Low Data Mode.’ This will prevent apps from syncing in the background. Here’s how you can turn it off.

Step 1:OpenSettings> tap onCellular Data/Mobile data.

Step 2:Tap onMobile Data Options(or Cellular Data Options).

Step 3: Tap onData Mode. Ensure you haven’t selectedLow Data Mode. SelectAllow More Data on 5GorStandard.

Additionally, ensure you’ve not enabled Low Data Mode for Wi-Fi networks as well. Open theSettings app> tap onWi-Fi> tap on theinfo iconnext to the connected network > turn off the toggle forLow Data Mode.

Fix 3: Offload WhatsApp
