4 Fixes for Outlook App Not Downloading Attachments

Basic Fixes
Fix 1: Check Outlook App Download Settings
Enable the necessary permissions for the Outlook app for downloading your attachments. You need to enable Mobile Data access especially if you are outdoors.
On iPhone
Step 1:OpenSettings > Outlook.
Step 2:EnableMobile Datausage.
On Android
Step 1:Go toOutlook App Info.
Step 2:Tap onMobile Data and Wi-Fiand then enableUnrestricted Data Usage.
Fix 2: Check App Storage Permissions
After internet usage, you need to enable storage permissions for the Outlook app to download and save your attachments.
On iPhone
OpenSettings > Privacy and Security > Files and Folders > Enable permission for Outlook app.
On Android
OpenOutlook App Info > Permissions > Photos and videos > Allow.
Fix 3: Disable Low Data Mode
Depending on your connection type, we suggest disabling Low Data Mode or Data Saver on your mobile. You might have turned on the feature to save data balance. But if your attachments have a larger file size, we suggest disabling the feature.
On iPhone
Step 1: Open the Settings app and then tap on Wi-Fi.
Step 2:Tap theInfoicon next to your connected Wi-Fi network and then disableLow Data Mode.
Step 3:Go back to theSettingsmenu and then tap onMobile Service.
Step 4:Tap onMobile DataOptions and then selectData Mode.
Step 5:DisableLow Data Mode.
On Android
Step 1:OpenSettingsand then tap onNetwork and Internet.
Step 2:SelectData Saverand then tap the toggle next toUse Data Saverto disable it.
Fix 4: Clear Outlook App Cache
Clear the app cache so that the outdated cache files are removed from your device. Then, sign in with your account and wait for your data to reload.
On iPhone
OpenSettings > General > iPhone Storage > Outlook > Offload App.
On Android
OpenOutlook App Info > Storage and cache > Clear cache.
