4 Ways to Access Secure Folder on Samsung Galaxy Phones

Method 1: From the App Drawer or Home Screen

Once you create the Secure Folder the first time, you can access it easily from yourphone’s App draweror home screen. Here’s how:

Step 1:Swipe up on the home screen and tap onSecure Folder.

You will be asked to log in with a PIN or password. Once in, you will find the native apps like Gallery, Contacts, Calendar, Notes, etc., in the Secure Folder.

Step 2:To add the Secure Folder app icon on the home screen, long-press theSecure Folder iconand selectAdd to Home.

FAQs About Accessing Secure Folder

If you have forgotten the credentials of your Secure Folder, enter the wrong password once. Then, tap on Forgot, followed by Reset. Now, log in with your Samsung account details to reset the password. This method will only work if you enable ‘Reset with Samsung account’ in Secure Folder settings before forgetting the password.

To delete Secure Folder completely, go to Settings > Security and Privacy > Secure Folder > More Settings. Tap on Uninstall. You will be asked if you want to move files out of Secure Folder.
