4 Ways to Fix MacBook Not Waking Up From Sleep

Preliminary Fixes

Fix 1: Reset PRAM

PRAM stores your macOS system settings, such as display settings, time zone, volume, and more. Here’s how to reset it to fix the issue.

Step 1:Removeall the USB devices from your Mac and shut it down.

Step 2:Press thepowerbutton to turn on the Mac.

Step 3:Press theOption + Command + P + Rkeyboard shortcut. Keep pressing them for 20 seconds until you see the Apple logo.

Fix 2: Reset the System Management Controller

Fix 3: Boot in Safe Mode
