4 Ways to Fix Outlook App Not Working on Android

Fix 1: Check App Permissions
If the Outlook app isn’t working properly, it could be due to missingapp permissions. To avoid this, you must allow Outlook all the necessary permissions on your phone.
Step 1:Long press the Outlook app icon and tap theinfo iconfrom the resulting menu. Go toPermissions.
Step 2:Go through all the permissions one by one and allow them.
Fix 2: Reset Your Account
The Outlook app allows you to reset your account within the app to troubleshoot sync issues. Doing this can help fix problems with the Outlook app not working properly.
Step 1:Open the Outlook app, tap theprofile iconin the top left corner, and then tap thegear iconat the bottom.
Step 2:Go toAccounts, select your account, and tapReset Account.
Fix 3: Remove and Re-Add Your Account
If resetting Outlook doesn’t help, you can try removing it and adding it back. Here’s how to do it.
Step 1:Open the Outlook app, tap theprofile iconin the top left corner, and then tap thegear iconat the bottom.
Step 2:Go toAccounts, select your account, and tapRemove Account.
Step 3:SelectRemove from this deviceand hitRemove.
Add your email account again and check if Outlook works fine after that.
Fix 4: Clear App Cache (Android)
This is a rudimentary tip that can helpfix various issues with Outlook. Clearing the cache will delete any temporary files associated with Outlook that may be causing the app to malfunction.
Step 1:Long-press on theOutlook app iconand tap theinfo iconfrom the resulting menu.
Step 2:Go toStorageand tap theClear cacheoption at the bottom.
