4 Ways to Fix Zoom Audio and Sound Not Working on Android

Basic Fixes

Fix 1: Join Audio

If you can’t hear participants in a meeting, ensure you connect to the audio. Tap on theJoin Audiobutton and selectWi-Fi or Cellular Data.

Fix 2: Unmute Output Audio

Check the loudspeaker icon at the top left corner. If it is on mute, you can’t listen to any audio. Tap on thespeaker iconto unmute.

Fix 3: Increase Media Volume

Ensure to increase the audio output volume on your device. Use the volume keys to do so while you are in the meeting.

Alternatively, go to theSettingsapp > open theSoundsmenu > increase theMedia Volume.

Fix 4: Clear Cache

Accumulated cache and junk files can cause issues within an app. To clear them, tap and hold theZoom app icon, selectClear Data, and tap onClear Cache. Don’t worry; you won’t be signed out of Zoom when you do this.
