4 Ways to Select Multiple Files on Windows File Explorer

Method 1: Select All Files Using CTRL + A

Once a folder is open and you press theCTRL + Akey combination, all the files will be selected.

Method 2: Hold and Drag the Left Mouse

You can click and hold theleft mouse button, anddrag itto select all the files inside a folder.

To select multiple sets of files, click and hold theleft mouse button,drag it, andselectthe files. Then, hold theCTRL key, click and hold theleft mouse button, anddrag itto select the next set of files.

Method 3: Use Shift Key

Click on thefirst fileyou want to select > hold theShiftkey > click on thelast fileyou want to select.

This will select all the files between the first and the last files you previously selected.
