4 Ways to Transfer Playlists From Spotify to YouTube Music

A C.A. by profession and a tech enthusiast by passion, Gaurav loves tinkering with new tech and gadgets. He used to build WordPress websites but gave it all up to develop little iOS games instead. Finally, he dropped out of CA to pursue his love for tech. He has over 5 years of experience as a writer covering Android, iOS, and Windows platforms and writes how-to guides, comparisons, listicles, and explainers for B2B and B2C apps and services. He currently divides his time between Guiding Tech (writer) and Tech Wiser (editor).

Paurush dabbles around iOS and Mac while his close encounters are with Android and Windows. Before becoming a writer, he produced videos for brands like Mr. Phone and Digit. On weekends, he is a full-time cinephile trying to reduce his never-ending watchlist, often making it longer.

Method 1: Using Playlist Buddy

Playlist Buddy is a free, ad-supported web service. There are no popup ads, though. You will just notice banners when transferring your playlist from Spotify to YouTube Music.

Step 3:Click onConvert Playlist.

While the process is on, you will see a couple of ads at the bottom of the screen. A way to support development of the site.

Once the process is complete, you will see your Spotify playlist on YouTube Music.

Method 2: Using SongShift

SongShiftoffers an iOS app but no web or Android versions. That limits the app in terms of platforms, but it is perfect.

Soundiizprobably supports the maximum number of music streaming services, and that’s why it is my favorite. Again, there are no mobile apps available—just the web version, which works well.

Step 1:Visit the website and click onStart for free. You must create an account or sign in using a social media profile like Google.

Step 2:ChooseSpotifyon the left andlog into give the necessary permissions.

Step 7:In the next screen, you can remove duplicates, enter anew title and descriptionand set the playlist as private or public. That is unique to Soundiiz. Click onSave configurationhere.

Step 8:In the next screen, you can choose or remove tracks. When done, click onConfirm Tracklist.

You will now choose your destination music streaming service, which is YouTube Music.

The transfer will take a few moments, after which you can view and listen to it on YouTube Music. The pro version, priced at $3/month, will let you work with more than one playlist and import additional data like favorites.

You can also keep playlists on different streaming apps in sync. Useful if you and your spouse use different apps but listen to the same playlist.
