5 Ways to Fix “This Page Is Having a Problem” Error in Microsoft Edge

Fix 1: Disable Extensions
An extension might be interfering with the browser processes and preventing Edge from loading websites. To check for this possibility, you will need to disable all the browser extensions, and then try to load websites again.
In Edge, typeedge://extensions in the URL bar at the top and hitEnter. Then, use the toggles to disable all the extensions.
If websites load fine after this, acorrupted or glitched browser extensionis most likely to blame. To determine which extension is causing the error, enable your extensions one at a time.
Fix 2: Clear Browsing Data
Clearing cache and cookies in Edge can help fix a variety of browser errors, including this one. PressCtrl + Shift + Deleteto open the Clear browsing data panel. SelectAll timein the Time range menu and tick theCookies and other site dataandCached images and filescheckboxes. Then, click theClear nowbutton.
Fix 3: Reset Microsoft Edge
If clearing existing browsing data does not help, you can try resetting Edge to its default settings. Doing so will remove all your extensions, startup configurations, and other temporary data.
In Edge, typeedge://settings/resetin the URL bar and hitEnter. ClickRestore settings to their default valuesand hitResetto confirm.
Fix 4: Modify Registry Files to Enable Code Integrity
If Edge still throws the “This page is having a problem” error while loading websites, you can use the following registry method to fix it.
Step 1:Press theWindows key + Rto open the Run dialog. Type inregeditand pressEnter.
Step 2:Paste the following path in the address bar at the top and pressEnterto navigate to the Microsoft key.
Step 3:Right-click on theMicrosoftkey, go toNew, and selectKeyfrom the sub-menu. Name itEdge.
Step 4:Right-click on theEdgekey, go to New and selectDWORD (32-bit) Value. Name itRendererCodeIntegrityEnabled.
Step 5:Double-click the newly created DWORD and change its value data to0. Then, clickOK.
Restart your PC after completing the above steps, and then try using Microsoft Edge.
Fix 5: Change the IPv6 Value in Registry Editor
Another reason Edge may display the “This page is having a problem” error is if you have disabled IPv6 via theRegistry Editor. In that case, you’ll need to change the value for the DisabledComponents key to 0 (zero) by following the steps below.
Step 1:Open theRegistry Editorusing the search menu.
Step 2:Paste the following path in the address bar at the top and pressEnterto navigate to the following key.
Step 3:Double-click theDisabledComponentsentry on your right and change its value data to0. Then, clickOK.
Restart your PC, and Edge should start loading your websites as before.
