5 Ways to Fix Video Unavailable in Amazon Prime Video

Fix 1: Sign Out of Prime Video and Sign Back In
Try to fix the problem bysigning out of Amazon Prime Videoand signing in again. This can refresh the session on your Prime Video account.
Step 1:Open Amazon Prime Video on any browser and tap on yourusername.
Step 2:Click onSign Out.
Step 3:Now, click onSign in to join Prime. Enter your credentials and click onSign In.
Fix 2: Clear Browser Cache
Accumulation of cache and junk files on your web browser can cause issues with media playback.
Step 1:Click on thethree dots iconin the toolbar. Click onSettings.
Step 2:Click onPrivacy and Security. SelectClear browsing data.
Step 5:Click on theTime Rangebutton and select the time range asAll Time.This will help you clear the stored data and cache of Chrome from the time you started using it.
Step 6:You will now see a list of what is being cleared. Select what you want to delete and click onClear Data.
Fix 3: Disable Extensions
Third-party extensions can extend the functionality of your web browser but may cause unintended problems as well. For example, a content blocker extension might be preventing Amazon Prime Video from functioning normally.
On Chrome
Step 1:OpenChrome, click on the extensions icon on the toolbar, and selectManage Extensions.
Step 2:You will now see a list of installed extensions.Turn offthe toggle to disable an extension and check if it solves the issue. Repeat this for all the installed extensions.
Fix 4: Disable Hardware Acceleration
While hardware Acceleration is a process in which additional hardware resources are used on your system to accelerate tasks, it may also cause a few issues.
Step 1:OpenChromeand tap on the three dots icon in the toolbar. SelectSettings.
Step 2:Click onSystemin the sidebar.
Step 3: Turn offthe toggle for ‘Use hardware acceleration when available’.
Fix 5: Update Display Drivers
If the display driver is outdated on your PC, update it so that it is capable of playing videos on applications like Amazon Prime without any problem.
Step 1:OpenDevice Manager from the start menu.
Step 2:Click onDisplay Adapters.
Step 3: Right-clickon the display driver and tap onUpdate driver.
Step 4:Click onSearch automatically for drivers. If there are new versions, you can follow the on-screen instructions to update the drivers.
