7 Ways to Fix Reminders App Not Sending Notifications

Basic Fixes:
Fix 1: Ensure Reminder App Notifications Are Enabled
If the notifications are disabled for the Reminders app, it won’t be able to notify you of the relevant reminders. In this case, open the Reminders app settings and ensure notifications are enabled. Here’s how.
Step 1:OpenSettingsand tap onReminders.
Step 2:Tap onNotificationsand enable theAllow Notificationstoggle.
Fix 2: Check iCloud Settings
The Reminders app might not work properly on your iPhone if it is not enabled from iCloud settings. So, open iCloud settings and ensure the Reminders app is enabled using the below steps.
Step 1:OpenSettingsand tap onyour name. Tap oniCloud.
Step 2:Tap onShow Alland ensure theReminderstoggle is enabled.

Fix 3: Disable Scheduled Summary
Scheduled Summary helps you cut through dozens of notifications throughout the day and delivers notifications at an appropriate time. You need to disable Scheduled Summary from Settings. Here’s how to do it.
Step 1:OpenSettingsand tap onNotifications.
Step 2:SelectScheduled Summaryand disable theScheduled Summarytoggle.
Fix 4: Enable Time Sensitive Notifications
Marking your Reminders app notifications as time-sensitive will ensure all the notifications are delivered with the highest priority on your iPhone and remain on the lock screen for an hour. Do this if you keep missing the relevant notifications. Here’s how.
Step 1:OpenSettings→Reminders→Notifications.
Step 2:Enable theTime-Sensitive Notificationstoggle.
Fix 5: Check Mute Notifications and Today Notification Settings
If you have muted assigned reminders from within the Reminders app settings, they won’t be delivered to you on your iPhone. So, disable the relevant option. Additionally, you can also enable Today Notification to ensure you get reminders for all-day tasks. Here’s how to do it.
Step 1:OpenSettings→Reminders. Disable theMute Notificationstoggle.
Step 2:Then, enable theToday Notificationtoggle.
Fix 6: Enable Reminder App Location Access
If you have denied location access to the Reminders app, you might not receive reminders for location-based tasks. In this case, check and ensure location access is enabled for the Reminders app using the below steps.
Step 1:OpenSettings→Reminders. Tap onLocation.
Step 2:From the options, selectWhile Using the App.
Fix 7: Reset All Settings
If some iPhone settings are blocking the Reminders app notifications, you canreset all iPhone settingsto get rid of them. This will only delete custom settings while keeping the device data safe. Follow the below steps to do it.
Step 1:OpenSettingsand tap onGeneral. Tap onTransfer or Reset iPhone.
Step 2:SelectResetand tap onReset All Settings.
Wait for the reset process to finish. Then, set the relevant reminder again in the Reminds app and see if the reminder notifications are working as expected on your iPhone.
