Fix: Google Pixel Phone Keeps Rebooting

Fix 1: Charge Your Pixel Full
Many advise againstfully charging your batteryfrequently, as it can reduce its lifespan. However, if your Pixel keeps restarting, it’s recommended to charge it to 100 percent and check if it still restarts. This test will also be a good indicator of its battery backup. If you see the charge levels deplete quicker than usual, consider taking the phone to a service center.
Fix 2: Reset Your Settings
If the issue started after changing settings, undo them. If you can’t remember the changes, reset your device to default settings. Remember, this will erase all data. Back up to your Google account for later restoration.
Step 1:Go toSettings> selectSystem.
Step 2:Then, tapAdvanced> go toReset options.
Step 3:First, selectReset Wi-Fi, mobile, and Bluetoothand check the results. Continue withReset app preferences. Check if the restart issue persists.
Step 4:If this is the case, tapErase all data(factory reset) > selectReset phone.
Step 5:Enter yourPIN,pattern, orpasswordwhen prompted.
Step 6:SelectErase everythingto launch the process.
Step 7:Once the reset process completes, set up your phone and restore your data.
If the issue persists, this could indicate your hardware is faulty. Have your Pixel phone repaired at one ofGoogle’s Repair Centersor go to anauthorized repair partner. You may need to replace your battery.
Fix 3: Reinstall System Software Using the Pixel Repair Tool
Google has a nifty utility for factory-resetting your Pixel smartphone and reinstalling the correct software. You can use the web-based utility and follow the steps outlined below to repair your Pixel’s software.
Step 1:Visit theGoogle Pixel – Update and Software Repairportal.
Step 2:ClickGet started> select yourcarrierwhen prompted.
Step 3:The utility will advise you to back up your data. Once done, clickNext.
Step 4:Finally, enter the Fastboot mode. Hold thePower and Volume downbuttons for three seconds until the phone turns on.
Step 5:Once done, use the volume toggles to cycle through different on-screen options until you land on Rescue mode. Then, press thePower buttonto confirm your selection.
Step 6:Connect your phone to your PC via a USB cable > select the prompt toReinstall software.
