How to Add or Change Autofill Data on Google Chrome

Add Autofill Data in Google Chrome on Mobile

Add and Enable Autofill for Passwords in Chrome on Mobile

Step 1:Open Google Chrome on your iPhone or Android.

Step 2:For iPhone, tap on your profile icon at the top-right corner to open Settings.

For Android, tap the three vertical dots at the top-right corner and select Settings.

Step 3:Tap on Password Manager.

Step 4:Tap on Add Password, enter your details, and tap on Save at the top-right corner.

Step 5:Tap on Settings at the bottom-left corner.

Step 6: Tap the toggle next to Offer to Save Passwords. Tap on Done to confirm.

Step 7:Tap on Done again at the top-right corner to add your Autofill settings for passwords.

Google Chrome will automatically ask to save your passwords.

Add and Enable Autofill for Addresses in Chrome on Mobile

Step 1:Open Chrome on your iPhone or Android.

Step 2:For iPhone, tap on your profile icon at the top-right corner to open Settings.

For Android, tap the three vertical dots menu at the top-right corner and select Settings.

Step 3:Tap on Addresses and More.

Step 4:Tap the toggle next to Save and Fill Addresses.

Your address will be saved in Chrome and added automatically when you visit a website next time. You can tap the toggle again to turn off autofill in Google Chrome for addresses.

Clear Your Autofill Data in Chrome on Mobile

If you want to remove your Autofill data, including payment methods, addresses, and passwords, here’s how to do it on your iPhone or Android.

Step 1:Open Chrome on your iPhone or Android.

Step 2:Open Settings as per your device.

Step 3:Select the Autofill category from which you want to clear your data.

Step 4:Swipe left on the Autofill data and tap on Delete on the right side.

Step 5:Tap on Delete again to confirm.

You can easily add, edit, or clear your Autofill data in Chrome on Mac or Windows PC.

Step 1:Open Google Chrome on your Mac or Windows PC.

Step 3:Select Autofill and Passwords from the left menu.

Step 5:Click the toggle next to Offer to Save Passwords.

Step 6:Click the toggle next to Auto Sign-in to enable autofill.

Step 7:Click on Add to add your website password.

Step 8:After adding your password and website details, click on Save.

To turn off autofill, you can click the toggle for Auto Sign-in again to disable this feature.

Add and Enable Autofill for Addresses in Chrome on Mobile

Step 1:Open Chrome on your Mac or Windows PC.

Step 2:Click the three vertical dots in the top-right corner and select Settings.

Step 3:Click on Autofill and Passwords.

Step 4:Click on Addresses and more.

Step 5:Click the toggle next to Save and Fill Addresses.

Step 6:Click on Add.

Step 7:Add your address for Autofill and click on Save.

To turn off autofill for address, you can click the toggle again to disable this functionality.

Clear Your Autofill Data From Chrome on Desktop

You can remove your autofill data from Chrome on your computer for passwords, addresses, or payment methods.

Step 1:Open Chrome on your Mac or Windows PC.

Step 2:Click the three dots in the top-right corner and select Settings.

Step 3:Click on Autofill and Passwords from the left menu.

Step 4:Select any category of autofill data.

Step 5:Click on the saved info that you want to remove.

Step 6:Enter your Mac password to authenticate.

Step 7:Click on Delete to remove it.
