Block or Unblock a Viber Contact From the Chat Screen

The chat screen keeps messages from both – people you have saved on your device and those you still need to save. Using the chat screen is one of the quickest ways to block or unblock contacts. Here’s how to do so:

Step 1:Launch the Rakuten Viber app on your Android or iOS device. Ensure to be on the Chat tab.

Step 2:Locate the chat with the person you want to block and open it. Press the three-dots icon.

Tip:You can tap the Search icon and type the contact’s name to find the chat quickly.

Step 3:Select Chat info. Scroll down and tap Block this contact.

Note: To unblock the user from the chat window, find and open the contact’s chat > Press the Unblock button.
