How to Change Double Tap Reaction on Instagram Messages

Change Double Tap or Default Reaction on Instagram Messages

Step 1:Go to yourDMsin the Instagram app and open any message thread.

Step 2: Long-press on anymessageand select the+ icon.

Step 3:Tap onCustomizenext to Your Reactions andchoose the emojifrom the top panel to set it as the default reaction emoji.

Step 4:Press theCheckmark iconat the top to save the changes. This new emoji will now be sent whenever you double-tap on a message.

Sadly, No. The default reaction for posts and reels is the Heart emoji only.

You should reinstall the app on your phone. On Android, try clearing the cache and data for the Instagram app as well. Check other ways tofix the problem.
