Your phone number and Apple ID become your FaceTime Caller ID on your iPhone. Here’s how to change your FaceTime Caller ID by changing your phone number. Ensure that your iPhone is connected to the internet and you have physically inserted the new SIM card or used it as an e-SIM on your iPhone.

Step 1:Open theSettingsapp on your iPhone and tap on yourprofile nameat the top.

Step 2:SelectSign In and Securityand tap onEditnext to Email and Phone Numbers.

Step 3:Tap onAdd email or phone numberand selectAdd a Phone Numberagain to confirm.

Step 4:Enter yournew phone numberand tap onNextat the top-right corner.

Step 5:Enter theverification codesent to your new phone number.

Step 6:After your new number starts showing up, go back and selectMessagesin the Settings app.

How to Change FaceTime Phone Number on Mac

Your Mac also lets you connect with contacts via FaceTime on a bigger screen. Here’s how to change your FaceTime phone number using your Mac.

Step 1:OpenSettings>Profile name>Sign-In & Security.

Step 2:Click thePlusicon below Email & Phone Numbers.

Step 3:SelectPhone number.

Step 4:Enter your phone number and click onNext. You will then be asked to enter the verification code sent to your new phone number.

Step 5:After verifying your new phone number, close theSettingswindow and openFaceTimeon your Mac.

Step 6:Click onFaceTimeat the top-left corner and selectSettings.

Step 7:Select yournew phone numberfor FaceTime.

Also, ensure you have selected your new phone number to start new calls from your Mac.
