How to Make a Table Using Elements in Canva
Canva makes it easy to create a table with different cell sizes and customize it to suit your needs. Here’s how to do it:
Step 1:Open Canvain your web browser, click theCreate a designbutton, and pick from the suggested options. Alternatively, you can also upload an image by selecting theImport fileoption.
Step 2:Switch to theElementstab on your left, search fortables, and select one of the available options.
Step 3:Use theplus buttonsto add rows or columns and use thetrash iconto remove them.
Step 4:Once your table is ready, select any cell and start writing your text. You can format the text using the toolbar at the top.
Step 5:Click theSharebutton in the top right corner and selectDownload.
Step 6:Use the drop-down menu to specify your preferred file type and clickDownload.
How to Make a Table Using Templates in Canva
If creating a table manually seems like too much work, you can use one of the available templates in Canva. Here’s how:
Step 1:Open Canva, switch to theTemplatestab, and search fortables.
Step 2:From the results, select the template you want to use.
Step 3:Once the template opens, you can edit it as per your requirement.
How to Customize a Table in Canva
After creating your table using either of the methods above, Canva offers several customization options tomodify its background, elements, colors, and more. Let’s see how.
Resize Table
To resize the table, select it with your mouse. Then, move your cursor to a corner, and use the double-sided arrow to adjust the table’s size.
Change Background
To change the table’s background, click on thecolor iconin the top left corner and choose from the available options on the left.
Insert Elements
Canva offers an extensive library of fun elements to enhance your table’s presentation. To add an object, click on theElementstab on the left, explore the library, and select the element you want to add.
Alternatively, you can add your logo orwatermarkby inserting it as an image. To do that, simply drag and drop the picture from your computer into your Canva design.
