Method 1: Uninstall Secure Folder Permanently

There are two different routes to get to the uninstall button of Secure Folder on Samsung phones.

What Happens if You Uninstall Samsung Secure Folder

When you uninstall Secure Folder, all its data will be deleted. That includes apps you installed in it and files like pictures, videos, PDFs, etc. Also, all the Secure Folder settings will be restored to default. If you want to keep your Secure Folder data safe, you should move it out of Secure Folder when asked during the uninstallation process.

As a reminder, since Secure Folder creates a copy of apps that you move to Secure Folder, so uninstalling Secure Folder will not delete the original app from your phone. Only the version present in the Secure Folder will uninstall.

Deleting Secure Folder from the home or apps screen only hides it from these places. That means Secure Folder isn’t deleted from your phone. So your apps and data will remain safe inside the Secure Folder. You can access it by going to Settings > Security and privacy> Secure Folder (or More Settings > Secure Folder).
