Download Your Instagram Story Highlights from Instagram App
Earlier you could download Instagram Highlights directly from the Highlight’s insight section. However, the platform has removed that feature for some reason. But don’t you worry, here’s what you can do instead.
Method 1. Save Instagram Highlights to Camera Roll Via Stories Archive
Similar to how wedownload Instagram Stories, we can use the Archives section to download and save Instagram Highlights. However, the archives section doesn’t segregate Highlights under different sections or from just Stories.
So, you’ll have to spend some time finding the highlight you want. Thankfully, there’s a date on each photo, that should help you to find your photos or videos easily.
Step 1: Launch theInstagram app. Tap theProfile iconto go to your profile screen.
Step 2: On the profile screen, tap thethree-line iconand selectArchive. Go toStories archive.
Step 3: Search and select theHighlightyou want to download.
Step 4: Now, tap thethree-dot iconat the bottom-right corner. HitSave photo/videofrom the pop-up menu.
Tip: If you’re not sure if the Story has been saved as Highlight or not, simply look at the Highlight icon at the bottom. It’s a Highlight if the icon is highlighted (pun intended), if it’s white that’s just a Story.
Method 2. Create and Download Highlight Videos From Instagram
While Instagram doesn’t allow you to bulk download Highlights, it does offer you to make a Reel of all stories saved in the Highlight. And here’s how you can create a fun Reel from your Highlights.
Step 1:OpenInstagram. Go to yourProfile.
Step 2:Long-presstheHighlightyou want to convert into aReel.
Step 3: SelectConvert to Reel.
