How to Draw a (Red) Box Around Text in the Snipping Tool on Windows PC

Steps to Draw a (Red) Box Around Text in the Snipping Tool
Step 1:Open the screenshot or any other picture in the Snipping Tool.
Step 2: Click on theShapes icon(square with a circle at the back).
Step 3:Select theRectangle shapeand click on theFill tool. Select theNoneoption (the first one, i.e., a circle with a bar).
Step 4: Now, click onOutlineand selectthe Red color. Also, move the opacity slider to the extreme right. If you want to change the size of the red box, use the Size slider.
Step 5: Now, hold the mouse button and drag it around the text in the picture to create a rectangle. Before performing any other action on the image, you can resize, rotate, or move the red box. If you click outside the red box, you can’t move or resize it.
Step 6:Use theCtrl + S keyboard shortcutor click on theSave iconat the top to save the picture with the red box around the text. Also, learn how toadd arrows or text to screenshotsin Windows.
