How to Edit Videos in WhatsApp (iPhone and Android)

Edit Videos in WhatsApp
WhatsApp offers multiple options to edit your videos before sharing them with WhatsApp contacts. Let us take a look at them one by one.
Crop/Trim Videos on WhatsApp
Step 1:Open WhatsApp on your iPhone or Android and then open your chat.
Step 2:Select the video from yourgallerythat you want to edit and thenuse the trimming toolat the top to reduce the length of your video.
Step 3:To crop your video, tap theCropicon at the top.
Step 4:You cancrop the video by manuallyselecting the areas.
You can also tap the Aspect Ratio icon at the bottom-right corner and select the one to crop your video.
Step 5:Tap onDoneat the bottom-right corner to confirm.
Add Stickers or Emojis to Videos on WhatsApp
Step 1:Open WhatsApp and select the video you want to share with your contact.
Step 2:Tap theStickericon at the top. You can alsochoose an emoji.
Step 3:Select thestickerof your choice.
Toremovethe emoji, select and drag it to theDeleteicon at the top-left corner.
Add Text to Videos on WhatsApp
Step 1:OpenWhatsAppand thenchoose the videoyou want to share with your contact.
Step 2:Tap on theTexticon at the top and thenstart writingyour text.
You can change the appearance and alignment of your text which will appear for the entirety of your video.
Step 3:Tap onDoneat the top-left corner to confirm.
Add Drawing to Videos on WhatsApp
Step 1:Open WhatsApp and then choose the video you want to share with your contact.
Step 2:Tap on theDrawing iconat the top-left corner and then start scribbling on your video.
Your drawing will appear for the entirety of the video and not just on specific portions.
Step 3:Tap onDoneat the top-left corner to confirm. You can tap theUndoicon to remove your drawing.
