Enable or Disable Reaction Notifications on WhatsApp Mobile App
WhatsApp lets you set custom notification tones, vibration patterns, call ringtones, and LED indicators for personal and group chats. However, the same isn’t available for reactions. You may disable all reaction notifications. The process is different for Android, iPhones, and the Desktop app.
On Android
Step 1:OpenWhatsAppon Android > tap thethree vertical dotsmenu at the top-right corner > selectSettings.
Step 2:SelectNotifications> disable theReaction Notificationstoggle under the Messages menu > disableReaction Notificationsfor WhatsApp groups from the same menu.
From now on, WhatsApp won’t alert you when someone reacts to your message. We recommend disabling reaction notifications for WhatsApp groups and keeping them on for personal chats.
