Why Can’t I See Highlights on Instagram
Basic Fixes
Fix 1. Enable Save to Archive
For proper functioning of Instagram highlights, a setting known as ‘Save to archive’ should be enabled. This saves the stories in your archive, which you can later use to add any past story to highlights.
But if it isn’t enabled, you will not be able to use Instagram highlights. To check that, follow these steps:
Step 1: Launch theInstagram appand go to yourprofile. Tap thethree-bar iconfrom the top-right corner.
Step 2: Scroll down and selectArchiving and downloading. Next, ensure that the toggle next to ‘Save story to archive’ is enabled.
Once done, go to the settings page again. Tap Archive and select a story to make it a highlight.

Thedata-saving options on Instagramare a boon, especially if you are using cellular data. However, it’s also a bane and can lead to Instagram highlights not loading properly.
So let’s check and disable the data saver mode to smoothly load your highlights.
Step 1: OpenInstagramand go to yourprofile. Here, tap thethree-line iconfrom the top right corner.
Step 2: Scroll down and selectMedia qualityfrom under ‘your app and media’ section. Next, toggle off ‘Use less mobile data’.

For that, open theInstagram appand go to yourprofile screen. Tap on thethree-bar iconat the top. Scroll down and tapLog out.
Note: Make sure you remember your Instagram password before hitting log out. If you are unable to log out, find outhow to remove Instagram remembered accounts.
