How to Fix MIUI Screen Recorder Has No Sound Error

Basic Fixes

Fix 1: Check Sound Settings for Screen Recorder

Ensure that you’ve permitted the sound recorder app to capture sounds using the right source.

Step 1:Open theScreen Recorderapp, and tap on theSettingsicon.

Step 2:Tap on the menu next toSound source,and select the source of your choice.

Micrecords all the sounds from outside of your device while you’re recording your screen. WhereasSystem soundscapture the sounds that are being played by the app you are recording.

Fix 2: Update Screen Recorder App

If there’s any bug affecting the Screen Recorder app, you can try updating it to the latest version. Open theSecurityapp, and tap onManage apps.Check if there’s an update available for theScreen Recorderapp.

Fix 3: Clear Cache

Accumulated cache and junk files can result in bugs. To clear cache for the app, long tap on theScreen Recorderapp, and selectApp info. Tap onClear Data > Clear cache.

Fix 4: Use Third Party Screen Recorder App
