Fix 1: Disable “Use Less Data for Calls” in WhatsApp
Switching to a faster internet connection may not make a difference if you have enabled the Use less data for calls option in WhatsApp. While this feature helps reduce data usage, it also affects the video call quality in WhatsApp. Here’s how to disable it.
Step 1:Open WhatsApp on your phone. Tap thethree-dot menu iconat the top right and selectSettings. If you’re using WhatsApp on an iPhone, tap theSettingstab at the bottom right.
Step 2:Go toStorage and data> turn off the toggle forUse less data for calls.
Fix 2: Clear WhatsApp Cache (Android)
As you continue using WhatsApp on your Android, it creates temporary files to save frequently used data. While this data helps the app run smoothly, it can also cause problems if corrupted.Clearing the WhatsApp cachewill help you remove any problematic temporary files and get the app working smoothly.
Step 1:Long-press onWhatsApp> tap theinfo iconfrom the menu.
Step 2:Go toStorage> tapClear cacheat the bottom.
