How to Mute All and Individual Participants
On Desktop
Step 1: When on a call, click on theparticipants’ iconat the bottom. You will be shown the list of participants.
Step 2: To mute an individual participant, hover your mouse over their name and click on thethree-dot icon. SelectMute participant.
Step 3: To mute everyone, click onMute all.

On Mobile App
Step 1: When on a call, tap on thescreenonce to reveal the options toolbar.
Step 2: Then, tap on theparticipants’ iconat the top.
Step 3: On the next screen, tap and hold theparticipant’s nameyou want to mute. Then, selectMute participant.
Step 4: To mute all members, tap onMute all.
How to Stop People From Muting Other Participants
Note:The role of the Organizer cannot be changed. Only the Presenter or an Organizer can change the role of others.
On Desktop
Step 1: In the ongoing meeting, click on theparticipants’ iconat the bottom.
Step 2: Click on thethree-dot iconnext to the person’s name whose role you want to change.
Step 3: SelectMake an attendeefrom the menu. You must do this separately for each member.
On Android and iOS
Step 1: Tap on theparticipant’s iconat the top of the ongoing meeting.
Step 2: Tap and hold the name of theparticipantwhose role you want to change.
Step 3: SelectMake an attendee.
If you want to change the role to the Presenter, repeat the same steps and make someone a Presenter.
FAQs
If you are on a desktop, you will see the mute icon next to the participant’s name during a call. If you can’t see all the participants, tap on the participants’ icon at the bottom.
No. You cannot stop people from unmuting themselves during a group video call.
You can neither unmute all or individual participants. The participants need to unmute themselves.
