Method 1: Turn off Special Characters in Samsung Keyboard
To prevent special characters from appearing on your keyboard, go toSettings > General Management > Keyboard list and default > Samsung Keyboard > Layout > turn off Alternative characters.
However, this will not disable the long press feature, as the accented characters will still appear. Sadly, there is no way to disable special characters altogether, but you can change the hold time on the keyboard. By doing so, you will need to hold longer on the keyboard keys for accented characters to show up, thus reducing the unintentional typing of foreign or accented characters in your text.
For that, go toSettings > General Management > Keyboard list and default > Samsung Keyboard > Swipe, touch, and feedback > Keyboard touch and hold delay. SelectLongor set any custom time using the Custom option.
