Check Your Email Address on Instagram for iOS and Android
Instagram uses a similar user interface on iOS and Android. So, the steps for finding the email linked to your Instagram account are the same, no matter the device or whetheryour account is private or public.
Step 1:OpenInstagram> tap youraccount pictureat the bottom right.
Step 2:Tap thethree horizontal linesto access Settings and activity page. SelectAccounts Center.
Step 3:TapPersonal details. You’ll find your email address under theContactinfo menu. Tap it for detailed info.
Notably, you can add your Instagram email address to another account (your Facebook account) or delete it from the same menu.
Note: If you delete your email address on Instagram, you can no longer use it to log in,reset your password, or receive notifications. Also, you can’t delete the email address from accounts where it is the only contact method.
See Your Email in Instagram Lite for Android
Instagram offers a stripped-down version of the app for low-end Android phones,Instagram Lite. It’s used by over 100M+ users and remains a popular option among entry-level smartphones. If you are among them, use the steps below to find out what email address you used for Instagram.
Step 1:OpenInstagram Liteon your Android phone. Tap yourprofile iconat the bottom-right corner.
Step 2:Tap thehamburger menu(three-line icon) > openSettings.
Step 3:SelectAccount> tapPersonal Information.
Here, you can check your current email address linked to Instagram. If you want to change it, tap the X mark and add the new one. Hit Save to make the changes live.
Find Your Email Address on Instagram From the Web
Instagram offers a capable web version, too. Using the desktop version, you can check your latest posts, Reels, stories, and email addresses. Here’s what to do.
Step 1:VisitInstagramon the web > clickMoreat the bottom left > openSettings>Account Center.
Step 2:ClickPersonal details> check yourContact info.
Here, you can view your email address linked to Instagram. To delete it select and proceed to the next menu.
Check Your Instagram Email Address Using Facebook
If you have connected/synced your Instagram account to Facebook, use the Facebook mobile app to check your Instagram email address orlog in to the app.
Step 1:Open theFacebook app> tap yourprofile iconat the bottom right.
Step 2:ExpandSettings & privacy> selectSettings> open theAccounts Center.
Step 3:TapPersonal details.Here, view yourContact infofor Facebook and Instagram.
Step 4:Tap theemail address. It will open your Instagram account in the following menu.
You can delete your email if you don’t wish to receive alerts anymore.
