How to Send Original Size Pictures on WhatsApp

Method 1: Using HD Option in WhatsApp

You cansend photos in HDresolution using WhatsApp on your iPhone or Android. Just select the picture that you want to share and tap the HD icon at the top. This option is also available for WhatsApp Web users.

Method 2: Send Picture as Document

On Mobile

LaunchWhatsApp→open chat→tap +→select Document→attach the photo.

On WhatsApp Web

Step 1:Go toWhatsApp Weband log in to your account.

Step 2:Click thePlus iconin your chat >Document.

Step 3:Choose your photo andsendit.

While it’s wise tosync/backup your photos to Google Driveor iCloud, you can also use this feature to share high-quality images via WhatsApp. However, you can manually upload the images to Google Photos/Drive or create an iCloud Shared photo library.

Then, share this link with your contact on WhatsApp. Although technically, you’re not sharing images through WhatsApp, this hack works fine, especially if you want collaborative photo sharing.

Method 4: Create and Share a PDF

On iPhone

Step 1:Open thePhotos app, select the photo, and tap theShare iconat the bottom-left corner.

Step 2:Tap onPrint, select theShare icon, and chooseSave to Files.

However, remember that it’s not that easy to convert the PDF back to images. So, this one’s a great hack if you want the receivers to view and not use the photos, otherwise, you can totally skip this one.

On Android

Step 1:OpenGoogle Photos, select your photo, and tap onShare.

Step 2:SelectPrintunder More options and chooseSave as PDF.
