Setup Your Snapchat Account on the Web
Step 1:Open theMicrosoft Store,search for Snapchat, and download it.
Step 2:Launch theSnapchat appandlog inwith your account details. If you have enabled 2FA (two-factor authentication) on your account, Snapchat might ask for a verification code.
Step 3:Snapchat will ask you to provide camera permission. ClickGot itto provide the permission.
Step 4:The web will ask to allow the camera and microphone permission to function smoothly. SelectAllowif you plan to compose/receive voice or video calls on Snapchat or want to send snaps using the laptop camera.
Snapchat DM (direct messages) menu will appear on the left with your most recent conversations.
Enable Snapchat Notifications on the Web
To receive real-time messages, snaps, and incoming calls on the desktop, you must enablenotification permission for the Snapchatweb.
Step 1:Open theSnapchat app> click thethree dots iconat the top bar > choosePrivacy>Manage privacy settings.
Step 2:ChooseAllowfrom the Notifications drop-down menu.
Step 3:Reloadthe tab to apply the changes.
To disable notifications from a specific contact, go through the steps below.
Step 1:Open aconversationon the Snapchat web, click thecontact’s nameat the top, and selectMessage notifications.
Step 2:Click theradiobuttonbeside Silent to mute notifications.
