How to Download Still Image From Motion Photo

By default when you download or share the motion photo, it is saved as a still image. Open the image inGoogle Photos> tap onShareto send or swipe up todownloadthe image.

The purpose of motion photos is to capture a few seconds of the frame before and after you click the shutter. This way, you have a range of shots to choose from – allowing you to select the best still image from the sequence.

To select a shot from the sequence,swipe upon the image in Google Photos. Under Shots in this photo, selectan imageof your choice.

Step 2: Swipe leftin the list of options and selectExport.

Step 3:Select aformatand tap onExport.You can then share it using any social media app.
