How to Remove Google Contacts from iPhone
Open theSettingsapp, go toContacts > Accounts, select the Gmail account, and turn off contacts.
Doing this will remove all the contacts synced from the Gmail account to your iPhone.

How to Remove a Specific Google Contact Synced to an iPhone
Step 1:To remove a specific Google contact on your iPhone, open theContactsapp, and go toLists.
Step 2:OpenGmailfrom the list, and this will show all the contacts synced from the account. Select and deletethe contact you want to remove.
Note that doing this willdelete the contact from your Google Account. To restore it, go to Google Contacts on the web, sign in with the account, and use the Bin to restore the deleted contact.
How to Prevent New Contacts from Syncing to Google
When you add a new contact to your iPhone, it gets synced/backed up to a selected service under the Default Account. Here’s how you can change it from Gmail to iCloud or another service.
Go toSettings > Contacts > DefaultAccount and change the service.
