This is wrong. If you hide a post, others can still see it on your profile and in the subreddit you posted. The only thing hiding does is hide it from your own screen. It does nothing else. It’s a useless feature. This article is deceiving and I falsely believed hiding my posts would hide them from my public profile for several months due to the info on this page.
