How to Upload Photos on Google Photos From Mobile
There are two ways to add pictures to Google Photos from Android or iOS devices. The first method enables the Backup feature to automatically upload existing and new photos or videos to Google Photos.
Method 1: Upload All Photos Automatically to Google Photos
Step 1:Open theGoogle Photos appon your phone and tap on theprofile picture iconat the top right. Then, tap onPhotos settingsfrom the menu.
Step 2:Tap theBackupoption in Settings and toggle onBackup. Choose the backup settings for your photos.

Method 2: Add Pictures From Device Folders to Google Photos on Android
Step 1:Go toGoogle Photos Settings>Backup.
Step 2:Tap onBack up device foldersand toggle on the folders you want to back up.
Method 3: How to Manually Add Photos to Google Photos
Step 1:Tap on anyphototo open it in full-screen view. TaptheBackup iconat the top to upload the picture to Google Photos.
Step 2:To upload multiple photos, long-press one of the photos on the main screen of the Google Photos app to activate theselection mode. Tap on the photos you want to select. Then, tap theBack upicon at the bottom to add them to your Google Photos account.
How to Upload Photos to Google Photos From Computer
Since there is no dedicated Photos app for PC, you must upload it using a browser. However, if you have Google Drive installed on your PC, you can upload it to any folder in Google Drive and later import it into Google Photos.
Step 1:Go toGoogle Photoson your browser and click theUploadbutton at the top.
Step 2:Select the source from where you want to add pictures. If you want to add it from a folder on your PC, selectComputer.
Step 3:Choose thefolderand select thephotosyou want to upload.
