WhatsApp now allows you toupload video statusfor up to 60 seconds for your contacts. Just ensure that you are using the latest version of the app on your device. Just select the 60-second video that want to upload to your WhatsApp Status and you are good to go.
How to Trim Videos For WhatsApp Status
WhatsApp introduced this feature of trimming long videos into 60-second snippets on both Android and iPhone. You can post all the 60-second snippets to make it look like one full-length video. Just ensure you have installed the latest version of WhatsApp on your respective device.
Step 1:UpdateWhatsAppon your iPhone or Android and then open the app.
Step 2:Tap theStatusicon.
Step 3:SelectAdd To My Status.
Step 4: Record your video or select the videofrom the Photos app on your iPhone.
Step 5:Use the Slider to select thefirst 60 secondsfrom your video.
Step 6:After selecting the portion, tap theSendicon on the bottom right side to add your WhatsApp Status.
Step 7:Now,repeat the above steps. This will let you post a video over 30 seconds on your WhatsApp Status.

iPhone users can download theStatus Splitter for WhatsAppfor free. This app will not make you worry about the limited WhatsApp Status video length. You can download the app using the link below and then follow the steps.
Step 1:OpenStatus Splitteron your iPhone.
Step 2:Allowaccess to your iPhone cameraandfileslike photos and videos.
Step 3:Once done, tap onVideo Splitter & Cutter.
Step 4:Tap onGallery or Filesto select the video you want to split into 30-second clips. You can also tap onCamerato directly record the video.
Step 5:Once you select the video, tap onWhatSplitand select60 sec. The updated version of the app will have the feature.
Step 6:Tap onSplitat the bottom to confirm.
Step 7:Once you see your 60-second clips, tap onSave To Photosat the bottom.
Step 8:Close Status Splitter and open WhatsApp to add your status videos.
