Use Grammarly in Microsoft Word on Mac
Install Grammarly on Mac
Step 1:OpenMicrosoft Word> select theInsertmenu at the top.
Step 2:Click onGet Add-ins. It will openMicrosoft AppSourcein your default Mac browser.
Step 3:Search forGrammarlyand open the app add-in menu.
Step 4:SelectGet it nowandsign inwith your Microsoft account details.
Step 5:Click on theOpen in Wordbutton.
It will open Grammarly information in Microsoft Word. Let’s check the extension is in action now.
Use Grammarly on Mac
Step 1:LaunchMicrosoft Wordon Mac and open any Word document.
Step 2:SelectHomeat the top.
Step 3:FindOpen Grammarly.
Step 4:Log into Grammarly account details. You will soon see detailed Grammarly feedback on your Word document.
Grammarly’s free account will show tips for correct grammar, clarity, and engagement. If you have a Grammarly Premium subscription, you can check for plagiarism and sentence delivery.
Use Grammarly in Microsoft Word on Windows
Grammarly is available to use in the Word app on Windows too. Of course, Microsoft Word has a different interface on Windows than on Mac. However, the options and settings remain nearly the same.
Install Grammarly on Windows
Step 1:OpenMicrosoft Wordon Windows and create anew document.
Step 2:SelectInsertin the menu bar and click onGet Add-ins. Windows will open the Office Add-ins store in the app.
Step 3:Use the search bar and typeGrammarly.
Step 4:Add Grammarlyto your Word software.
If you don’t find Grammarly in the Office Add-on store, you must use Grammarly web to install Word and Outlook add-ons.
Step 1:VisitGrammarlyon the web. Scroll down and selectGrammarly for Microsoft Office.
Step 2:Install Grammarly for Word and Outlook from the following menu and follow the on-screen instructions.
Once you launch Microsoft Word on Windows, you will notice the Grammarly plugin in action.
Use Grammarly on Windows
Step 1:Open anydocumentin Microsoft Word for Windows. You will find Grammarly right in the menu bar.
Step 2:SelectOpen Grammarly.
Step 3:Click on thelogin buttonandsign inwith your Grammarly account details on the web.
Step 4:Go back to Microsoft Word and check all issues Grammarly found in your document.
