What happens When You Save a Post on Instagram

It’s Kept in the Saved Folder
When you save a post on Instagram, it’s added to the Saved section of Instagram and kept in the All Posts folder. You can organize your saved posts using collections, which are essentially folders. For instance, you can have a collection of books, places to visit, and so on. This helps you find the saved posts quickly when you need them.
Saved posts can be accessedby tapping on the three-line icon at the top-right corner of your profile page and then selecting Saved. Here, you can view and edit your saved posts.
Saved Posts Are Private

Tap on the Bookmark icon under a post to save it. Then, tap on the (+) icon next to the collection in which you want to save it.
On your Instagram profile, tap the three-line icon > Saved. Select the post that you want to unsave and tap on the highlighted Bookmark icon under the post.
